Petey was at a Yellow Gloves baseball game, enjoying the cool, refreshing soda and hot, steaming hotdog. The crowds yelled. Petey was enjoyinng about being himself, not worrying about being lonely or worrying about his life. He was out having fun. Suddenly, the searchlight came on, and it shone on Petey. "We have found our opening pitcher! Congratulations!" The announcer yelled into the speakers. Petey said, "Me?" "Yes, you!" said one of the umpires. The crowds cheered at Petey. He soon found himself on the pitcher's mound. The star batter, Danny LaDelusa was on home, awaiting the ceremonious pitch. Petey remembered his childhood, playing catch with his father. He wished he would someday get to play in a major league baseball game, but it was even better because hit favorite batter was right in front of him. With much excitement and anticipation, Petey grabbed the ball, and pitched a curveball. Danny hit it, not realizing it was just the opening pitch, hit the ball with much force. The ball's trajectory hit Petey square in the chest, causing a major beat in his heart, and caused him to pass out, ball falling to his hand.
Moral: Don't throw pitches at baseball games as you will get hit on...
