The Saga of Petey the Monkey - LJ7

The Saga of Petey the Monkey

By The Allengator

Petey was walking around the park one day. He spotted a red bench next to a tall oak tree. He sat down on the red bench. The shade from the oak tree felt good on the hot summer day. There were plenty of joggers out exercising. A particular good looking one sat on the same bench next to Petey. “Nice day for a jog, eh babe?” asked the hot young lady. Petey smiled, realizing that he had solved his problem of being lonely. As he was replying, a bee hive full of very angry worker bees fell on Petey’s head. “I said nice day for a jog, eh babe?” The lady asked. Petey tried to tell her, but his voice did not make it outside the beehive. “ARE……YOU…….DEAF?” asked the jogger. Petey yelled at the top of his lungs, but the voice did nothing but echo inside the beehive, causing the bees to become very irate, and they attacked Petey all at once. Meanwhile, the hot jogger left because her hunky boyfriend caught up to her, as she was waiting for him the whole time. The stings caused Petey’s windpipes to close up, and he passed out due to suffocation.

Moral: Use your inside voice.
