Mega Media Monday 3.2.09 (WTF Edition)

Welcome to another wonderful edition of Mega Media Monday! It is a well-known fact that WTF stands for What the Fruitloop? Ok, fine. I know the F isn't "Fruitloop", but I'm keeping this blog PG, so substitute it if you really really need to.

Anyways, the phrase is meant to show the shock and confusion one has when coming across something on the Internet. If something strange happens, especially on a forum or IRC chat room. Expect a reply from some Internet geek or 1337 h4x0r with a simple, "WTF?!!?". The point of the videos below are or shocking for the most part. Nothing vile or anything under the cut (you know how I am), but they are messed up anyhow.

Boing Docomodake

This is a game coming out on the DS and......this is some kind of video where mushrooms bounce on mushrooms and they can fly...or something....

I am the Walrus

Now I am the extremely few that think "Magical Mystery Tour" was the best Beatles album ever, and my personal favorite track off of said album is "I am the Walrus", which is probably my favorite Beatles song ever. However, I am also in the vast majority that think the MOVIE "Magical Mystery Tour" was one of the biggest bus wrecks in cinematic history. I mean you should watch it once just for giggles and laughs, but it will not become your favorite. Anyways, here is an excerpt from the movie where they sing "I am the Walrus". What starts out as a normal music video one minute in turns'll see.

For anyone interested in seeing the movie, go to this link and see it in its entirety.

Winston + Flintstones = High Times in Bedrock

The Flintstones were the Simpsons of the 60's, and had to advertise some. This is really odd because its hard to imagine a (nowdays) children's cartoon show advertising drugs, but then again, they were everywhere in the 60's....but still......

Confusing TV Show Intro

I have nothing to say about this one. But I can guarantee that you will not guess what the show is really about until the title screen hits. I wonder why this never became a show.....

Mega Media Monday Extra Video!

Watchmen promo

I am excited that this Friday is the premiere of Watchmen the movie! I figure this is the only chance I get at advertising for it before the premiere on here, so I thought I would do so. Also, I love the song "Take a Bow" by Muse. Very Space Rock-ish.

I hope you aren't too wierded out by this week's videos, but then again, its kind of fun messing with people's heads, so I feel like its been worth it :P. As always, submissions of themes and videos are encouraged and I could really use some inspiration for the future, as I am one man, and one man's tank of originallness can only take him so far. Need an incentive to submit something? Well, how about $10 in invisible money, the official money of invisible people! Yeah, that should do it.

Join me next week for more Internet entertainment extreme! See you guys next week, and happy watching!
