But hey, on the bright side, it makes for an overall longer entry and personal tidbits on me, for anyone who gives a care.
So, I will basically comprise this entry to the various reasons why I have not updated.
First off, is that I am/was sick the past week, and just didn't feel like complaining about it on here. It was a sinus infection, but it went on long enough to prompt me to go to the doctor for the first time in years. Yeah, years. The sad part was the doctor told me NOTHING new in terms of my illness, and perscribed me almost the exact medicine I was taking anyways. He did give me some heavy duty pills, but everything else was.."crap, I was already doing this. So your advice for me is to just be more patient..."
Work has upped my hours, and I couldn't be happier with that. Well, at least in terms of my paycheck. Nothing really spellbinding to report.
I also have a couple of outside projects to do, including building a website for my church, and create handbills for our upcoming gospel meeting. This has taken quite a bit of my personal time. I totally don't mind, don't get me wrong, but it just takes time, which is why I haven't blogged.
Another thing I did was purchase Spore: Creature Creator for the PC. I am quite impressed with the basic "demo" of the full release of Spore, which is due out in September. At first I thought Spore wouldn't be enguaging, but I couldn't have been more wrong, and am glad for that fact. Hopefully a more in depth look at it will be up soon. I was going to update last night, but I was too busy making creatues like "uggystik". Hee!
Wall*Mart lost a good friend last week. A man named David was killed in a car wreck. He used to be department manager of the Garden Centerm until he left about a year or so ago. He was a very religous and a very excellent bass singer (he sang "Precious Memories" the last night of the old store being open, and it was very beautiful). He was a positive influence around anyone who worked with him, and never neglected to find me and just say "hey". He was that kind of person. Most of the sotre is going to the funeral tomorrow (including myself), even to the point of the photo center being closed mid day and associates from other stores coming in to fill in for the missing people. That is the honest to goodness truth. He will truly be missed.
The Fourth of July will certainly be different. I have to work all evening, so I will have the morning free to do whatever I want (I think I'll be skipping the parade this year), grab me a really quick bite off of the barbie, then head to work, where it'll hopefully be quiet, but that looks doubtful. I may or may not be able to catch my aunt Kathy. Who knows? It may be because of my recent "I don't really care" mood, that I just....er...don't care what happens. There will be other years, I guess.
That is it. I'll try to blog more, but the next few days are looking busy-like, so I'll see what I can do.
Take care everyone!
